Mounjaro 7.5 mg — step-up dose at our pharmacy in Urmston
£160 per month, supplied at our pharmacy in Urmston counter
Role of the 7.5 mg dose
Intermediate step. 7.5 mg is used when 5 mg has stopped delivering meaningful weekly loss but full 10 mg may feel too aggressive. It is a useful half-step that lets the body tolerate a higher level of tirzepatide before the next jump.
How long you stay on 7.5 mg
Four weeks minimum before any further increase. Some patients hold here for two or three months when 7.5 mg gives the right balance.
What to expect
- A short return of nausea or fullness for the first few days after stepping up
- Renewed weekly loss after a plateau on 5 mg
- Sharper appetite control around evening meals and snacks
- Some patients notice a return of mild reflux which usually settles within ten days
Injection technique
Continue rotating injection sites. Once-weekly schedule is unchanged. Keep a record of each injection date in your phone or in the booklet we give you at consultation.
Pharmacist review
Pharmacist review at four weeks. We will measure weight, ask about side effects, and confirm whether 7.5 mg is doing enough or whether 10 mg is the right next step.
When to seek urgent advice
Inform our pharmacist promptly if you become pregnant, are planning a pregnancy, or are starting any new oral medication — tirzepatide can affect how other tablets are absorbed.
